About The Capsules
How many coffee capsules will I need for one cup?

All our drinks require one or two capsules. The amount of water you add to each is of course up to you, but our suggestion for how to prepare each hot drink is printed on the box.  

If you have an automatic machine, you can follow the bars on the capsule and match this up to the number of bars you select on your coffee machine’s volume selector. This gives you the right serve every time.

 

How do I know which coffee capsule to use for which drink?

The top of the coffee capsule will tell you which drink it is, but you will need to look at the colour of the base to see which kind of capsule it is (whether it is milk or coffee) :

  • Milk capsules have a white base
  • Coffee & chocolate capsules have a black or dark brown base
     
What do the bars mean on NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® capsules?

The bars on the NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® capsules reference how much water and/or milk is required to get it to right strength. On our automatic coffee machines, you can set the water level according to the recommended bars

What is the minimum shelf life of your selling capsules?

Nestlé’s policy is to sell products with at least 4 months validity. This applies to the retail channels for our consumers’ optimal enjoyment of our products.

Is it safe to consume your products if it's less than the minimum sales shelf life?

Yes, our products are still perfectly fine and in good condition if it’s less than the minimum shelf life. Our capsules are produced to be stay valid down to the last day of the expiry date for maximum enjoyment period of our beverages.

About The Machines
How does the machines work?

The NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® machine pumps water into its capsules at up to maximum 15 bar pump pressure. The high pressure, and the smart capsule design, deliver an even distribution of pressure to extract the coffee’s full flavour. The system uses a pump pressure similar to that of professional machines.

What capsules is compatible with the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto coffee machines?

The capsules that are compatible with NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® machines are our NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto and Starbucks by NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto capsules.

How do I know when my NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® coffee machine needs descaling?

Most of our coffee machines have an alert to tell you when it needs descaling and after a set number of uses, an orange or amber light will show up, which is the machine’s way of telling you it’s time for descaling. If your machine doesn’t have this feature, make sure to clean it every 3 to 4 months.

Over time, limescale slows waterflow, reduces the capacity and could reduce the effectiveness of heating the water used to make your drinks.

Machine Warranty

Terms & Conditions:

 

1. Customer needs to register the product warranty within 14 days from date of purchase
2. The warranty will only be considered valid, when customer received an email confirmation from us.
3. In the event the proof of purchase is suspected to be invalid or has been tampered with, product warranty will be null & void.
4. Warranty Period: Inclusive of Parts and labour from the date of purchase.  For a specific period and as per stipulated.
5. The Warranty is not transferable.
6. The warranty will not apply, should the product become defective due to the following:
     a. Accidents, misuse or abuse
     b. Use of wrong power supply / voltage
     c. Natural disasters, e.g. lighting, flood, earthquake, fire, etc
     d. Normal wear and tear
7. The warranty becomes null & void if at any time during the warranty period, any part of the machine has been dismantled, parts changed or repaired by any other person other than an authorized technician of the company
8. We reserve the right to repair / replace defective machine partly or wholly.
9. The receipt & confirmation email from Visionary Solutions must be presented when making any claims.
10. Customer is responsible for the transportation cost to & from our Customer Care Centre or appointed Agent. Before the release / return of repaired product / machine, transport which may include courier cost, must be settled 1st. The exception will be customer pick up the product from our Centre or appointed Agent.
